Johnny`s in Clarksville

Burgers were smaller than they used to be. Paid almost $20 for two burgers and fries. Bathrooms smelled really bad and was filthy. Water was puddled on floor of bathroom. No soap to wash hands but there was a sign that reads "employees must wash hands". Just a nasty place to eat. They were not busy at 430pm, so I am sure they had time to clean.

Best burger place in town with fast and friendly service. Been going here my whole life and the quality has never changed. Would recommend Johnny's over any burger place hands down

The only thing I've gotten so far is a double cheeseburger with fries and it's so good I finish the whole plate in 5mins. The burgers are big and the price is definitely affordable. The staff is so nice and friendly. I wish I had pictures to share to show, but the food doesn't last that long on my plate 😅😅.

Hands down the best burger in Clarksville. This is an old school style burger joint from the 60s. The burger has the perfect meat to fat ratio. I wish they had a few of their own signature burgers that drew on the local flare and flavors of Tennessee.

Great service, delicious food. However, honeybuns have gone down hill. We had 4 with ice cream and they were soaked in butter. Not the ones we remembered. Ladies bathroom needed cleaning. No social distancing in booths or at bar. Employees did wear mask.

Finally, I was able to try Johnny's Big Burgers recently. This place has been a local favorite for many years, and now I see why. The cheerful staff was a pleasure to interact with, and I found out that they grind their meat fresh daily. You can definitely tell in the taste! They don't add much seasoning to the burgers, but they do have a taste similar to what you would get when making a burger in a cast iron skillet. I would suggest requesting the seasoned salt for your fries. Both burger and fries, by the way, are great. You can get your burger topped anyway you like. I would suggest going somewhat plain, so that you can enjoy the taste of the meat. This place also offers some basic dinner fare and breakfast options, so there's something here for everyone. Definitely give it a try!

It's been a few years since ice been there but I called in a double cheeseburger togoOrder it took them al off 15 minutes to have my order ready 8.50 for a double cheeseburger and fries so cheap and there food is amazing if you dont atleast eat here once your really missing out on some reasonable prices great food

This place is down to earth awesome. Old school great food and atmosphere. My kids and wife really enjoyed it. This is a cash only place so keep that in mind. Also please tip the waiters accordingly. Some of the local kids have no respect for this place. This place is awesome and my family and I will be coming back

They were absolutely wonderful as usual for a Saturday drive from Nashville to Clarksville. The only thing is the milkshake machine is gone they temporarily cannot make milkshakes but that's okay because my hamburger steak was off the chain thanks.... Johnny Big Burger

Food is really good!!! Skip the fries, get the hashbrowns. Reason for lower rating: no social diatancing; Masks not worn properly by employees.

Small "mom and pop" restaurant. Accepts cash only, but there is an ATM inside. Burgers are hand patted, pie with ice cream is really good. But the chocolate pie alone was not great. Service was good.

Rude employees from the start. Floors were disgusting and the table was sticky and dirty. Other customers who arrived after me received their order promptly. I waited around 20-25 minutes for a Chicken sandwich before I just upped and left.

I had an excellent experience. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious. You must go and try it out. Make sure to have cash cause they don't accept cards but they do have an atm. We also tried the fried honey bun and ice cream...amazing!

3 stars is not because of the flavor or service. Its because if you have a name like big burger you should have at least one big burger. However, the biggest is a double quarter pounder.

Love the food and ambiance. It's a legitimate diner. Cash only. Staff is always super nice and fast. Food is always on point, literally never had a single issue on any visit. If you haven't been, you need to go at least once.

Went to Johnnys on a recommendation and couldn’t be more pleased. The service was solid, the food came out quick, and the ingredients were fresh! Only catch is that it’s cash only but there is an ATM on site. Definitely one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Would definitely recommend to everyone.

I'm not sure why this joint is getting such great reviews, my review is based on how good the burger was. No flavor, I got a crumbling loose beef burger. I love hamburgers, it's my food. I've had many burgers all over the country and Johnny's should invest in a salt and pepper shaker, at the very least.

Johnny's is a Clarksville Classic; there is no doubt about it. I have eaten here for a week straight before and it never got old. The flavor of their burgers is simple; and in it's simplicity it is wonderful. I do wish they had real malted milkshakes, but it's something I can get over.

I enjoyed the diner feeling. My burger was amazing, juicy and huge. My wife was a fan of no salt on the fries and her grilled cheese , ham and bacon looked amazing. We will definitely make this a regular spot to go.
